It's a Plaid kind of a day!

Today we all just dressed in Christmas colors however I think Marnie and Camryn tried to copy my outfit?!

Yesterday members of our SLC traveled to Herb Bassett Seniors home to spread a little Christmas cheer. We sang Christmas carols, played the piano and we're lucky enough to hear Brydon and Bria play the fiddle. We went there to spread Christmas cheer however I believe we all came home with a little extra cheer and joy in our hearts.

In the afternoon we gathered all of the clothes we collected for the winter clothing drive and delivered them to help keep our neighbors warm and safe and as well we brought the new toys to deliver for Christmas hampers for Prince Albert families.

I was buzzing with excitement! I am so blessed for the students I work with each day!

Gingerbread Fun!

It is my tradition to get my class gingerbread houses to decorate during the Christmas holidays! They had a blast! I think most of them went home with a little icing on their cheeks!

Positive Choices...

Thank- you Srgt. Mudry for taking the time to come and speak to our class about positive choices. I was so impressed with how engaged my grade 5's were. Thank- you for the educational presentation and for your easy going personality which made the kids really confortable to ask you questions. Thank- you for modelling great leadership!

Afternoon skate!

On Saturday I took my sweet peas for a skate at our neighborhood rink- Crescent Acres. We were pleasantly surprised to run into Luke, Matteo and Jaymon! So much fun! Luke even gave me tips on how to stop better! The boys were awesome to my Tye!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells......

We had fun coming together as a school to decorate our school Christmas tree. Each year we meet in the gym and sing Christmas carols as each class hangs their ornaments on the tree.

I love to see the relationships develop throughout the school year! I'm truly blessed to spend my days with such amazing kids!

It was so great to have Police Chief Cooper and Sergeant Mudry come to our school today to present you with positive ticketing rewards! I'm so proud of the leadership you demonstrate around our school throughout the year!

Let's Stop Bullying!

We were very lucky to have 2 members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders to come speak to our school on Bullying! They did a great job. I was so proud of the participation from my class. I think it was pretty neat when Hussein introduced the term " Bucketfiller" to them and how our class uses it! That sure filled up my bucket!
